Create your own models of the five regular solids—tetrahedron, cube, octahedron, dodecahedron, and icosahedron—with nothing more than paper, scissors, and glue.

There are patterns in three sizes for each type of polyhedron, corresponding to edge lengths of 1 inch, 2 inches, and 3 inches.

You can choose your own materials for constructing the models, making them not only fun and educational, but full of artistic possibilities as well. You can use any paper that your printer will handle, including card-stock and decorative papers. Also, you can adorn your solids using paints, crayons, pen and ink, or glue-ons. We particularly enjoy making hanging Platonic Solid mobiles—definitely Escher-esque!
